More Updated Rough Animation updates.
Finally! A Finalized look for one scene has been brought forward, with incredible pushing power. This 3 second clip is our first render. (in moving image form….)
We’ve been up to the media centre cinema to check the colours and all is looking grand.
Take a goosey.
Who could this scary creature be?
Holly has recently drawn up this picture for the Polaroid photograph of a certain mysterious creature…. I’d say chasing something that big is enough to pose a possible threat to the hunter and the apprentice.
Check out Holly’s blog at the link above.

As it stands, we’re currently a couple of weeks behind, what with trouble with the face rigs, rigging in general, weight painting. A lot of it has been pretty painful and strenuous for a lot of the group, but we’re pulling through, all of us working away over easter, a massive file management over haul. With Roy, Oddne and Emma hitting up the Animation, Matt, Simon and Matt working on the texturing, rig fixes and general geometry/UV fixes. I’ve been setting out shots into seperate files and sorting out the file management, deleting all the junk, trying to give everything a bit of a clean up to help us get on top of things.
Anyway, here’s the updated blockthrough/animatic as it stands. Animation is churning out, but corrections to weight painting have given our apprentice spazzhands.
When me, Simon and Matt L. Discussed how things were going yesterday, we all definitely decided the ambition behind our project was massive, and I think everything that comes about from now on is a massive testament to the team, and all the other teams working on the other projects.
Great work to everyone, and keep pushing on.
The Last Trophy Team.
Quick render test with some soundscaping going on. Needs lots more layers of sound going on, but mainly for insight in our production meeting.

Olly has recently been thrown jungle maya files to begin lighting from Mr Matthew Butler, who is currently populating scenes with dubious amounts of modeled vegetation. Feast your peepers on these!

Emma has also been working with the old mushroom scene which is slowly becoming the new Mushroom scene.

Emma Taylor has been working with Bap’s Rig and getting him to perform walk cycles, jumps and all sorts of tasty movements, here’s a quick walk cycle from her.
